BOOKS AND BLOGGING PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy is defined as a theory underlying or regarding a sphere of activity or thought. Well, my theory is if I can add at least 10 new books to my Wishlist and move at least 5 older Wishlist selections to my TBR list every month, then life is a ice cream sundae. And if I can find those 10 books from at least 5 new blogs each month then that's the cherry on top.

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!
Well, I've made it almost 5 years now, so for better or worse, I continue on. I tend to blog in spurts as the urge to be creative erupts. As I don't have an artistic bone in my body, you will see very few changes in the layouts. Hey, I'm a reader not an artist like so many of the awesome bloggers I follow. I know you don't always have the time but if you stopped and looked, take a half a minute and say your piece. Recommend a book that you have enjoyed or hated for that matter. Thank you to all who visit.
Oh, and I moved my Google Friend Connect info and share this buttons to the top, as without our friends, who are we?

BOOK BLOGGER HOP( #11) & FOLLOW FRIDAY (#1) Aug 6

Hosted by Jennifer from CRAZY FOR BOOKS http://www.crazy-for-books.com and PJ at
http://www.parajunkee.com/

Okay guy's it's FRIDAY! And you know what that means. Go get on over to Jennifer's & PJ's and add your name to McLinky and get read to met and great new and old friends.
Do you listen to music when you read? If so, what are your favorite reading tunes?

I don't listen to music but if it's nighttime the TV may be on while the hubby catches up on the news and I read. Once I'm in the zone, I hear nothing! I know only the world between the pages.

Last week, I used the entry #s and anyone's whose entry number ended in a 8, I may have visited. This week, I think I'll  visit every other site that their entry site # ends in a 0, staring with 10. Oh, and some are just stops along the way, no reason, just wanted to stop and wish you a great weekend.

If you sign MckLinky, please share the love and POST ABOUT THE HOP AND FOLLOW FRIDAY ON YOUR BLOG!  How else will anyone else find out about it and come join the party?

Just hopping by, Lisa...interesting twist on how you pick!

I don't think mine has a pattern, although I'm drawn to eclectic, mystery, etc.

My hop is here:

Hopping by-nice blog! I enjoyed your review on the White Queen. I've read all of Gregory's Tudor books, and have this one on my shelf. While I'm sad that White Queen isn't getting as rave reviews as her Tudor books, I still feel compelled to read it out of a personal challenge to read every one she has written. I liked Queen's Fool the best.

Hi. I'm stopping in from the hop. I just read your post from March on growing older and watching your kids become independent. Beautifully written and heartfelt. They will always need you - not in the sames ways but your presence in their picture of home will ground them and keep them coming back.

Thanks for your comments on my blog. I only do the challenges that interest me. I think the best one I'm doing right now is the Birth Year Challenge. Minus the Kingsley Amis book, of course. :-)

I'm often reading while my family watches TV. When I'm by myself I'll listen to music instead. Come see how I listen to music when I read.
