BOOKS AND BLOGGING PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy is defined as a theory underlying or regarding a sphere of activity or thought. Well, my theory is if I can add at least 10 new books to my Wishlist and move at least 5 older Wishlist selections to my TBR list every month, then life is a ice cream sundae. And if I can find those 10 books from at least 5 new blogs each month then that's the cherry on top.

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!
Well, I've made it almost 5 years now, so for better or worse, I continue on. I tend to blog in spurts as the urge to be creative erupts. As I don't have an artistic bone in my body, you will see very few changes in the layouts. Hey, I'm a reader not an artist like so many of the awesome bloggers I follow. I know you don't always have the time but if you stopped and looked, take a half a minute and say your piece. Recommend a book that you have enjoyed or hated for that matter. Thank you to all who visit.
Oh, and I moved my Google Friend Connect info and share this buttons to the top, as without our friends, who are we?

Snuggling, closeness with loved ones, and wrapping my hands around a steaming mug of something wonderful liked mulled cider when I've been out freezing! Curling up by a roaring fire with a hot read!

Living halfway across the globe, (Philippines) we don't have winter but when December arrives, the breeze gets colder and it's a sign for me to breakout a can of hot cocoa and prop on my fave spot in the couch and watch Christmas movies or read a Christmas-themed book to round up a day of just slowing down. That's what I enjoy doing.

I live in Florida, so I don't really get much of a winter. So I guess my favorite thing is that I can still go to the beach in winter!

My favorite thing about mid-winter is being able to leave the windows open in the house, in Florida it doesn't get too cold right now during the days and it's nice not to have to run the heat or A/C and let some fresh air in.

The holidays

Winter = desert camping season! And Mid-Winter means AFTER the financial crunch that Christmas brings, which means more $$ for camping! Yay! When we camp, it takes at least $500 in gas. We have to fuel up the truck towing the RV, all 4 quads + the Polaris Ranger, and the truck towing the trailer with the toys on board (the ones that don't fit in the toyhauler RV) AND have enough gas for the generators. Whew.
