We have four kids, so the 4th is CRAZY around here... the littlest two will wear sound-deadening muffs so they can stay up late and watch the big brothers put on a fun-fun-fun show. We live on a hillside in the country(ish) so we'll see all our neighbors shows from our blankets. After BBQing of course. Too fun.

Every year, my family and I host a get together at our house and then we walk to the lake to see the local fireworks for free. We eat some yummy fattening pizza, get awed by the displays of exploding colors, and just generally have a fabulous time! ^_^

We are having a quiet day today! My son 'was' over, but his Dad picked him up and they are going to 'do' fireworks tonight at their house. My hubby and I are READING today!!!
