Mother of three grown children
and Nana to my 4 year old
granddaughter. My youngest
left for college last fall so the
house is kind of empty some days.
I retired from a Goodyear dealer's
IT department after working nearly
30 years and have enjoying being
at home with my husband and
daughter. Have really enjoyed
being able to sit up until the wee
hours of the night and finishing
that book that has had me
enthralled all day. I love to work
outdoors in my yard often planting
hundreds of flowers. I'm constantly
moving flowerbeds and dragging
rocks out of our woods to make
new flowerbeds. I've undone years
of labor that my husband's grand-
father put in disposing of the rocks
from his tobacco fields.
In the summertime you will find me piled up in the hammock reading
or at the pool with my nose in a book. I love a good paranormal
romance,a scary horror story, or a laugh out loud funny romance.
I also enjoy historical fiction, YA, and sci fi, so my taste goes
from one extreme to another. I tend to find a good author and then
read every thing they have written, not stopping until I have read
every book by them or until I get burned out. I've only started
blogging and posting my reviews here a short while back so please
excuse the mess. I only read what I want to, when I want to and
never read a series out of order. We are a work in progress and
welcome any advice or tips. This is mainly for me but if anyone
gets a laugh or leaves with a thoughful nod, let me know.

We are only about an hour's drive from the mountains, which we visit regularly on our
motorcycle, and in 4 hours we can be at the beach. Our weather tends not to be too extreme
(or only for short periods of time) so I feel we have our own little piece of heaven here.
