WELLLLL - WE'RE WAITING WEDNESDAY # 14 (Oh! and I'm having another WWWW contest)

What's your WELLLL- WE'RE WAITING book for this week?

Title: Pure
Author: Jennifer Armentrout
Genre: YA
Paperback: 320 pages
Publisher: Spencer Hill Press (4/2/12)
ISBN-10: 0983157227

There is need. And then there is Fate...
Being destined to become some kind of supernatural electrical outlet isn't exactly awesome--especially when Alexandria's "other half" is everywhere she goes. Seth's in her training room, outside her classes, and keeps showing up in her bedroom--so not cool. Their connection does have some benefits, like staving off her nightmares of the tragic showdown with her mother, but it has no effect on what Alex feels for the forbidden, pure-blooded Aiden. Or what he will do--and sacrifice--for her.
When daimons infiltrate the Covenants and attack students, the gods send furies--lesser gods determined to eradicate any threat to the Covenants and to the gods, and that includes the Apollyon... and Alex. And if that and hordes of aether-sucking monsters didn't blow bad enough, a mysterious threat seems willing to do anything to neutralize Seth, even if that means forcing Alex into servitude... or killing her.
When the gods are involved, some decisions can never, ever be undone.

Title: Fated
Author: Alyson Noel
Genre: YA
Hardback: 304  pages
Publisher: St Martin's Press (5/22/12)
ISBN-10: 0312664850

So here's the deal . . . Strange things have been happening to Daire Santos. Animals follow her, crows mock her, glowing people appear from nowhere. Worried that Daire's having a breakdown, her mother sends her to stay with the grandmother she's never met, who lives on the dusty plains of Enchantment, New Mexico. There Daire crosses paths with Dace, a gorgeous guy with unearthly blue eyes. Her grandmother recognizes Daire's episodes for what they are - a call to her true destiny as a Soul Seeker, a person who can navigate between the living and the dead. Guided by her grandmother, Daire must be quick to learn how to harness her powers because Dace's brother is an evil shape-shifter, out to steal them. Daire must embrace her fate as a Soul Seeker and discover if Dace is the guy she's meant to be with . . . or if he's allied with the enemy she's destined to destroy."

  3. I tried to leave a comment before but it didnt seem to stick.

YA covers always seem to be beautiful, even if I rarely read them.

  4. Ooh both of those look great! They're also on my "to-read" list.

Another book I find myself so excited for is Everneath by Brodi Ashton. I believe this one doesn't come out until January something. Not only is the cover quite beautiful, but there's heavy influence of mythology. Can't wait to read it!

    :)

  5. I am ashamed to admit that I haven't read anything by either author. I am hearing great things about Jennifer Armentrout though.
