ReplyDeleteMy dad was in the navy for ten years on a cruiser. He'd be gone for 9 months then on the base in San Diego for 3. I don't know how my mom had three kids and did that for 7 years. Luckily by the time I started school he was out and they moved back to Granite Falls, NC where I still live today.
