Temptation under the mistletoe
Specialist Juliet Turner flies halfway across the world to England with her young daughter, Bea, to perform lifesaving in utero surgery. But her first white Christmas is complicated by the feelings awakened by ob-gyn Dr. Charlie Warren!

Juliet has protected her heart for years, but she soon finds there's so much more to this closed-off widower than meets the eye. Perhaps it's time for them both to let go of the past, surrender to their burning chemistry and make this a Christmas to remember!

Throw together a cute four year old, holidays, and a sad widower and you've hooked me. I've always loved the Mills & Boon format of Australia/UK romances and  WHITE CHRISTMAS FOR THE SINGLE MOM  is one of the best most recent Harlequin Medical Holiday reads I've enjoyed this year. Charlie is a sad stubborn OBGYN who gives Juliet a hard time with her more modern "ideas" of utero surgery. He thinks she's impulsive and as he believes his late wife's death was a result of impulsiveness, it takes a while for Juliet to convince him that the surgery was not a modern impulse but a well thought out method to save the quads. Both Juliet and Charlie are somewhat broken by past romances and Bea does a lot to help them open up to new possibilities.
A quick read that I know you'll enjoy this holiday season.

Married to the man she met at eighteen, Susanne is the mother of two adult daughters, Orianthi and Tina. Her varied career titles have included dental nurse, personal assistant, contract manager and now Medical Romance author. The family also extends to a maltese shih-tzu, a poodle, three ducks and four hens. Susanne has always read romance novels and says, ‘I love a happy ever after so writing for Mills & Boon is a dream come true.’
