Well it wasn't last minute but I had a hard time finding a Tickle Me Elmo one the year they came out and that is all my son wanted.
My nephew wants a skylanders character called Slam Bam, which I can't find.
I think that would have to be Black Ops for X Box last year for my son. EVERYONE was sold out and people were selling it online for way more than it cost!
I would say something for my Dad. He is always so picky with gifts.

I hate to admit it, but it was one of those creepy Elmo dancing dolls for my daughter when she was younger.

A cheap bag for one of my friends. I don't mean cheap as in crappy or anything, it was just that I was trying to find something that was maybe less than $30 - $40, and I eventually found a really pretty pink flower bag at this market thing in the city for only $10. Thanks!

The most difficult give for me to find was a fountain pen in my price range for my nephew..oh I found plenty for $300 and up. Eventually I did find a really nice one I could afford.

Tickle Me Elmo was by far the hardest thing to find many years ago when my daughter was little!!

Thanks for the chance to win!!

I have never had an issue with searching for a gift for someone and couldn't find it. Actually, I guess I am right now looking for a certain hair straightner for my niece that I cannot seem to find.
ruthaw_1974@yahoo.com
Last gift like that was a certain doll that my youngest daughter wanted & sadly I never found it in time :( But she honestly doesn't remember it now...thank God...lol
Anything for my father. He requires some planning, so all too often I procrastinate, and then end up wandering around the mall endlessly trying to come up with something to buy him.
Hmm, I've actually not looked for one I couldn't find. Well, certain audiobook boxes maybe, but they didn't exist in that format at all!
Thanks for the giveaway!
The chins will not sing Christmas in Hollis. Sad.
Lalaloopsy dolls last year. They were sold out everywhere I went. I got them this year though!!
I always buy what is on sale throughout the year
A few years ago it was a Wii for my daughter
I had trouble finding a pretty patriotic ornament to send my English friend!
mariamusings at gmail dot com
Hmm. The most difficult may have been the Sony Reader that I wanted to buy last Christmas for my sister. It took me months.
There was this mixer in a specific color my mom wanted and it took me forever to find it since most places don't carry it and the online store was sold out.

I don't really do last minute shopping. im normally able to find all the gifts i want to buy
That is really not an issue for me. I only give checks or gift cards as gifts--that way I know people are able to get the gift they really want and I don't have to do the crowd and shopping thing (which I hate).
Right now, I've been helping my mom buy a MP3 player for my brother- but given that none of us had one before, and he has no need for an apple product- we're having a hard time finding one that seems decent and isn't over 100 bucks!
the Hunger Games book HARDBACK.
Damn here, in Macedonia, is hard to find that book in hardback.
i needed to go other town with my father.
It was probably a few years ago with the Wii Fit. It was impossible to locate. The year before that it was the Wii game Carnival Games - no stores had it.
My grandson is a teenager and he is so hard for me to find gifts for him that he will like.
Thanks for giveaway.

I am not a last monute shopper. I frequently buy stuff after Chirstmas and put it in the closet for the following year.
I haven't had much trouble finding gifts for Christmas. Since I live in such a remote area I do all my shopping online. So I just get what I see and call it good. But I do have a hard time deciding what is just the right gift to give.
one year Furbies where hard to find but I did get them finly.now this year it's hard to find stuff that fits my mom she is so small may have to look in kids clothing .

Last minute gifts? No, I don't think so. I'm usually done my shopping by November 30th at the latest. My family is just too big for me to not be on the ball.

I always have a problem finding something for my mom.

A particular brand of water bottle for my marathon-running sister.
mrsethjones (AT) yahoo (DOT) com
Every gift is a last minute gift with me. All of my family and friend have the horrible label of “impossible to shop for”! And they don’t ask for anything! Why can’t they make is simple and just ask for something they need? Instead I spend November and December looking around for something they can at least unwrap on Christmas. Ugh!

A gift that I am having trouble finding in stores this year is for my aunt. She loves the football player, Tim Tebow. It's his autobiography I'm looking for, and it seem to be sold out everywhere. I guess I'll now be buying it through Amazon.
I had the Chins sing Deck the Halls, White Christmas, and Jingle Bells. I commented this on its post as well.
I always know what to get mom, but it's just finding it. Since we usually shop for her a week before christmas, it's hard to find want she wants.
I always remember something at the last minute. One year, I was still searching for a gift for my mom (from my dad). She can be challenging to buy for.
I find it difficult to shop for males. Thanks for the great giveaway. ~Michelle

Last year I ended up giving my father-in-law a box of Nutty Buddy bars.. Lol he's the hardest person in the world to buy for! I did a little better this year tho. I got him a wooden soduko set :)

I guess I'm bad. I don't do the horribly hard to find items. If it's that difficult, I figure they can wait. Thanks for the giveaway! Gloria
My mother really wanted a yellow whistling tea kettle one year and I mustve found every other colored tea kettle under the rainbow. I searched for 2 days until I finally found one a town away.
A few years back, I had the hardest time finding the Spiderman Web Blaster...finally found it at a KB toy store a week before Christmas...I'm pretty sure the Hallelujah Chorus was playing in the background!
I have honestly never really had a problem.
The year Furby came out, we tried to find one for my daughter and finally found one on Christmas Eve!

I always have a hard time finding something that I think my step-mom will like.
Secret Santas are always hard to shop for. Last year I got a coworker who loves dolphins (the sea creature not the sports team) and trying to find a dolphin last minute in a mountain town in Arizona was almost impossible.
The hardest gifts had to find were new and popular video games. Everywhere we went they were out of them.
A good moisturizer that would please my mother-in-law.
icefairyisme at gmail dot com
a doll for my daughter that had sold out due to it the ethnicity of the doll
A Sopranos calender for my son in law.
patoct@yahoo.com
I'll never forget the year we were trying to find a Star Wars toy for my stepson. It was sold out everywhere. I can't remember the name of it, some toy that walked and was some kind of robot action figure. It was going for 4 times what it was worth on Ebay. I was calling Toy stores every few days to see if they had new shipments in. We never did find one and had to settle for something else. If memory serves, there were tons of them on the shelves after Christmas.
iPhone gloves. it seems like they are constantly sold out- I started looking in August!
Actually it was probably a bike for my mother. It needed to be short enough, cheap enough (she'd never go for an expensive one!). Not easy to find.
tickle me elmo
Thank you for the great giveaway - (emscout9 at Hotmail dot com)
It was a golf club for my husband and a certain diary for my daughter. I thought I could wait until payday, but the stores were out. I had to drive to the next town to find them. I now shops all year and hold for Christmas. I leave the one big thing they are after to get and then enjoy the time reading, baking, and laughing! I learned!

I'm a last-minute person, so I'm always hunting for gifts at the last-minute. I needed to get a gift for a friend that would hold some significance- I eventually found a snow globe that perfectly represented our friendship:)

I am having a hard time shopping for someone right now. All my Christmas shopping is done except for her. She is a work friend, so I don't really know her that well. I normally don't buy for people at work, but she already got me a gift.

One year it took me 4 hours to find the plant my mom wanted.
I think the hardest gift to find was the Wii a couple years ago for my son.
A Mont Blanc pen for my brother, the accountant!
Best wishes and thanks for a chance to win this fabulicious gift card giveaway hop!
MonjaBlue(at)gmail(dot)com
A Rubik's Cube last year for my son! Was hard to find one of the normal square ones - and this year I see them everywhere! lol
Zhu Zhu pets when they first came out were the hardest gift for me to find
A few years ago, I had issues finding a video game for my son! I learned a valuable lesson that year...now I do all my shopping earlier in the season!!!!
A Video Game for my son he was really wanting a few years ago! Now I don't put off my shopping till the last minute!!
The darn Tickle Me Elmo back when it first came out. My niece wanted one so we went just about everywhere to find one.
I usually make most of the gifts, so I never had that issue before =P
One year my son really wanted a game and I had to search high and low until I found it :) Thank you for this generous giveaway. Happy holidays.
i haven't been giving many gifts so i don't really have any hard to find gifts... this year, i just win lots of books or gift card and i just recently requested 2 copies of Hunger Games. one for me, and one as a gift :D
