BOOKS AND BLOGGING PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy is defined as a theory underlying or regarding a sphere of activity or thought. Well, my theory is if I can add at least 10 new books to my Wishlist and move at least 5 older Wishlist selections to my TBR list every month, then life is a ice cream sundae. And if I can find those 10 books from at least 5 new blogs each month then that's the cherry on top.

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!
Well, I've made it almost 5 years now, so for better or worse, I continue on. I tend to blog in spurts as the urge to be creative erupts. As I don't have an artistic bone in my body, you will see very few changes in the layouts. Hey, I'm a reader not an artist like so many of the awesome bloggers I follow. I know you don't always have the time but if you stopped and looked, take a half a minute and say your piece. Recommend a book that you have enjoyed or hated for that matter. Thank you to all who visit.
Oh, and I moved my Google Friend Connect info and share this buttons to the top, as without our friends, who are we?

I would go to a cheaper university, still get a communications degree, but double major to learn visual arts, too. Maybe I'd get a teaching degree. If I went to grad school, I wouldn't get a private student loan from Sallie Mae. Ick.

Honestly, I don't think I'd change anything...I'd go to Allegheny and major in Psychology and Neuroscience. Not that college was all that great, and right now I'm a stay at home mom-so not working in the field. But going to school there led me to a summer camp counseling position which led me to my husband. I wouldn't want to risk not meeting him and having the blessed family that we do now!!

Honestly I really don't know where I would go. I think I would look into business though as I would still want to become a SAHM/WAHM mom.

I would probably major in Library Science with minors in Fine Art and English/Literature. As to the place, the Pacific Northwest is close to my heart so I'd head on up there.

I honestly can't say I would want a do over. Maybe I could of actually tried being a mom and going to college, but the reason I didn't is because I settled down and started a family and never went to college. If I did, I may never had had my little man and I wouldn't have gotten all the mommy and me time that made us so close. I always did want to go to school to be a teacher though, so that is something I am working on now

I'd major in Literature and possibly Library Science. As for where, any large city university would do!

If I had a do-over, I'm not sure I'd take it. I never finished college because I had my babies young, and I'm fairly certain I wouldn't have used my early childhood education in the way I thought I would before I had kids. I'd love to go to art school, but I'm not sure I'd take a do-over... I like the way things turned out :)

I would major in medical technology instead of biology.

I originally went to Penn State and majored in English before I transferred to NYU.

If I have a do-over, it would be the same college and I would've majored in English Education and minored in English :)

If I could do a do-over, I would major in Graphic Design and go to a college near Atlanta, GA instead of majoring in Accounting and residing in my small hometown in Florida.

I have a history degree which is pretty much useless. I do think that if I was to do school again, I'd finish that library science degree that is undone.

I would be going to ABAC and majoring in Nursing like I am now :]

Strangely, just before I came across your question I was asking myself the exact same thing. I would definitely major in English, Media and take Internet Studies as an extra major. I'd also take more language electives, like Italian and French. Maybe even Spanish:) Since my university campus is the only one that offers Internet Studies and has only recently stopped offering it as a major, I would stick around at my university even though I've always wanted to attend University of Cape Town. Maybe I can lecture there later on in life?:)

Thanks for the great giveaway!

I would still join the army right out of highschool like I did way back when. Except maybe I would choose to sign up for the pathologist program....nothing like being a morgue dweller.

Thanks for the giveaway and for participating in this blog hop! Oh, you don't know how much I wish I could "do over"! I will still attend the University of Kansas but instead of majoring in "party" I would major in archaeology.

I'd do to a big university in Europe (probably Paris or London) and major in Psychology (as I am now doing ;P) with a focus on Social Work or Forensics Psychology! =)

I'd probably change my major to English or Literature and I would also get my teaching certification so that I could teach at the high school level. I don't know if I would change colleges though.

I'm just entering my sophomore year of college, so things wouldn't change that much. I would probably choose to go to my dream school, Wake Forest. I also probably wouldn't leave if money was no problem. :)
But I'd definitely stick with my anthropology and English majors.

I would go to PMS in the UK and study medicine. I went there originally but had to stop due to chronic illness.

This is a tough one because I'm pretty happen with my chosen career path of Family and Consumer Sciences with an emphasis in early childhood development, hoping to open a daycare one day.

I suppose if I had to choose different though, I'd go into nursing and work in labor and delivery or pediatrics OR I'd train to be a midwife or doula.
