BOOKS AND BLOGGING PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy is defined as a theory underlying or regarding a sphere of activity or thought. Well, my theory is if I can add at least 10 new books to my Wishlist and move at least 5 older Wishlist selections to my TBR list every month, then life is a ice cream sundae. And if I can find those 10 books from at least 5 new blogs each month then that's the cherry on top.

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!
Well, I've made it almost 5 years now, so for better or worse, I continue on. I tend to blog in spurts as the urge to be creative erupts. As I don't have an artistic bone in my body, you will see very few changes in the layouts. Hey, I'm a reader not an artist like so many of the awesome bloggers I follow. I know you don't always have the time but if you stopped and looked, take a half a minute and say your piece. Recommend a book that you have enjoyed or hated for that matter. Thank you to all who visit.
Oh, and I moved my Google Friend Connect info and share this buttons to the top, as without our friends, who are we?

BLOGFEST 2010

HAPPY, HAPPY, JOY, JOY
I survived BlogFest 2010
Remind me NEVER to try to do Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday on a weekend where there is a BlogFest. What in the world was I thinking!
I don't know how everyone else survived, but I was barely hanging on. I thought okay, I'll use Friday to visit on Book Blogger Hop and Follow Friday, no problemo. Then I have Saturday and Sunday to do BlogFest. Although this was my first BlogFest, I was supremely overconfident  that I could handle this. Boy was I underestimating the shear volume of bloggers out there!
Don't get me wrong, I had a hell of a good time. My biggest problem was that I was like a kid in a candy shop, I didn't know where to start (well, actually I did, Thanks to Cinnamon from A Journey of Books. I wanted to stop and read and look, but gosh darn the clock was aticking and time was awasting and I had more stops than Santa . Well, I got through with 1 hour and 12 minutes to spare. Even went back and double checked the ones that I couldn't locate the post for BlogFest for on my first stop.
I'm already looking forward to BlogFest 2011(just give me a chance to catch my breath)!

How did all of you do? Visit a handful? Selected favorites? Or treat it like an all you could eat buffet (this was me)? What things did you like or dislike about BlogFest? I'll do another post about my take on it and the nightmare I had Saturday night (concerning what else but BlogFest).

I totally know what you mean. I did the same thing and it took me forever to get thru it all.
