BOOKS AND BLOGGING PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy is defined as a theory underlying or regarding a sphere of activity or thought. Well, my theory is if I can add at least 10 new books to my Wishlist and move at least 5 older Wishlist selections to my TBR list every month, then life is a ice cream sundae. And if I can find those 10 books from at least 5 new blogs each month then that's the cherry on top.

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!

NEW VISITORS AND OLD- WELCOME!
Well, I've made it almost 5 years now, so for better or worse, I continue on. I tend to blog in spurts as the urge to be creative erupts. As I don't have an artistic bone in my body, you will see very few changes in the layouts. Hey, I'm a reader not an artist like so many of the awesome bloggers I follow. I know you don't always have the time but if you stopped and looked, take a half a minute and say your piece. Recommend a book that you have enjoyed or hated for that matter. Thank you to all who visit.
Oh, and I moved my Google Friend Connect info and share this buttons to the top, as without our friends, who are we?

Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer

Breaking Dawn (Twilight, Bk 4)
Breaking Dawn (Twilight, Bk 4)
Author: Stephenie Meyer
Book Type: Hardcover
Rating: * * * *
Review Date 8/22/2008

"To be irrevocably in love with a vampire is both fantasy and nightmare woven into a dangerously heightened reality for Bella Swan. Pulled in one direction by her intense passion for Edward Cullen, and in another by her profound connection to werewolf Jacob Black, she has endured a tumultuous year of temptation , loss, and strife to reach the ultimate turning point. Her imminent choice to either join the dark but seductive world of immortals or pursue a fully human life has become the thread from which the date of two tribes hangs.
Now Bella has made her decision; a startling chain of unprecedented events is about to unfold with potentially devastating and unfathomable consequences. Just when the frayed strands of Bella's life--first discovered in
Twilight, then scattered and torn in New Moonand Eclipse--seem ready to heal and knit together, could they be destroyed...forever?"The astonishing, breathlessly anticipated conclusio to the Twilight Saga, Breaking Da.
I can see why this book has had such mixed reviews but I personally think Meyer did an excellent job of tying up loose ends and giving the readers what they wanted- more Bella, Edward, and Jacob. I loved the final book being told from several points of view. I just love that Nessie is going to be Jacobs soul mate. Gives an opening for future books with a whole new supernatural angle. You definitly have to have read the earlier books in order to enjoy this final saga of the Twilight story. I can't imagine trying to figure out what was going on without having the background on everyone. Now off to read her new "adult" book "Host".
